Brett James Howard

Brett James Howard passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. He was born in Corry, PA and later moved to Erie, PA. He graduated from McDowell High School in Erie, PA and continued his education at Vo Tech.  Brett was an auto mechanic and worked for Tool and Die. 

He leaves behind his loving children, Austin Howard, Steven Howard, Ryan Howard, Lindsay Mayton; four grandchildren; his mother Louise Johnson and Stepfather Ivan Johnson; his sisters, Jennifer Amendola (Robert), Heidi Brozell (Robert), Amy Johnson; his brother, Erik Johnson, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father James Howard.

Brett had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He was known for his sense of humor and could always put a smile on anyone’s face. We know you are at peace now. You will be loved and missed dearly. 

An open service will be held Friday, December 20th from 3:00-5:00 PM at Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Road, Erie, PA 16509.
