She was born in Mill Village, PA on June 9, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Wallace H. and Anna Marie (Jones) Kerr of Mill Village, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry (2000), whom she married August 1962.
June is survived by her twins William, of Waterford, PA, and Nancy (Ronald) Teribery of Warrenton, VA, son Chester, of Waterford, PA and daughter Christine Shupenko, of Edinboro, PA. She had three granddaughters, Sara, Katelyn, and Emily.
She is also survived by her sister, Dora (Delbert) Porter, and by sisters-in-law Virginia Kerr and Shirley Kerr, and brothers-in-law Ronald Sharp, Sr. and Edward F. Almazon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by 12 siblings; Homer, Clifford, Thelma (Fries), Louise (McGinnett), Edward, Joseph, Lloyd, Helen (Marzka), George, Wellington, Mary Ann (Sharp) and Wallace “John” / “Wally” Kerr.
June graduated from Edinboro High School in 1952. She previously worked at The ChuckWagon Restaurant and Erie Resistors, before spending most of her life as a housewife and dairy farmer.
June enjoyed the large family gatherings, word-search puzzles, playing cards, hummingbirds, and gadding about visiting friends and family when she could. Once the dairy farm was completed, she “Was so glad to be done milking all those cows twice a day”. In the past years since Henry’s death, she enjoyed traveling to spend time in Warrenton, VA. Guess you could say she finally “MOOVED” on to greener pastures.
