Betty Louise (Williams) Klinger
Betty L. (WIlliams) Klinger, age 76, of Corry, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, January 18, 2020, with her son, Anthony, by her side.
Born on August 7, 1943 in Rochester, NY, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Williams.
Betty attended school in Rochester, NY, and graduated from the Buffalo Beauty School of Cosmetology. She was a hairdresser in Corry, PA, where she owned and operated two salons, Avenue Styles on Columbus Avenue, and The Four Seasons on Smith Street. She also worked at Corry-Jamestown in Corry. She enjoyed collecting and selling antiques. Betty looked forward to weekends and summer vacations at her camp in Portland, NY., and loved meeting family and friends for bus trips to casinos.
Betty loved spending time with her family and friends, especially around Holidays, birthdays, and special occasions. She also loved entertaining her family and friends at her home or her camp, hosting many fun events such as pool parties and card games.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony St. George and Ryan Klinger; her daughters, Debbie Adamski and Colleen Peterson; her brother, Gary Williams and his wife Irene, and her step children, George Klinger, Tonia Zirpola, Kimmi Misiak , and Kathy Klinger.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, George William Klinger on February 7, 2011, and her sister, Jeanie Grover.
There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
