Barbara Anne (Varner) Dyne Schultz Hoffman
Barbara A. Hoffman, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2020 at LECOM Senior Living Center.
Born May 2, 1938 in Glenville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Rayburn and Daisy (Collins) Varner.
Barbara enjoyed many hobbies, including sewing, crocheting, and bingo. Her true passion was baking and cooking for friends and family.
Barbara was a caregiver for most of her life, and was always there for people in need. She was involved with Alcanon where she lectured and guided many through their struggles. She also assisted and started many activities at the Salsbury Building, such as a bible study and church. She considered all there as family and will be greatly missed.
Barbara had seven children; Dave Varner and Sue, Katherine Hammerman and Jeff, Craig Dyne and Sue, Krystal Waddell and Bill, Kevin Dyne (deceased), Mark Dyne, and Scott Schultz and Jennifer.
Nana's (Barbara's) heart belonged to her 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Barbara leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends, with a special mention to Kim (for always being there), Nell, Judy, and Helen, and so many others. You were all loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Dyne, Theodore Schultz, and Carl Hoffman, and 1 son, Kevin W. Dyne.
Barbara's family wishes to thank all who loved "Nana" and all who cared for her during her illness.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
