BARBARA ELLEN (Bobbie) CARDEN POE
Barbara Ellen (Bobbie) Carden Poe of Erie, PA passed away early Monday morning, April 24, 2017 at UPMC in Erie, due to a sudden illness.
Bobbie enjoyed watching westerns on television especially John Wayne movies. She gave her heart to the Lord in October, 2016.
Bobbie was born December 1, 1944 in Harrison Co., WV to the late William C. Carden and Wyola Kathleen Pigott Carden Drain.
Bobbie is survived by four children; James Russell Carden of Wallace, WV, Michael Gene Stoner of Parkersburg, WV, Denver Eugene Martin of Wallace, WV, and Sue Ellen Thomas of Morgantown, WV. She was also blessed with five grandchildren. Brothers and sisters surviving her are David E. Pigott and wife, Phyllis, of Clarksburg, WV, Clarence L. (Buck) Drain of West Union., WV, Robert D. Drain of Parkersburg, WV, Kathy D. Simmons of Parkersburg, WV, and Sandy (unknown address). Special friends Mike and Amy Garczyski survive of Erie, PA.
Preceding Bobbie in death were her soulmate, Ed Muffie; brothers Chester W. (Bill) Carden and James L. Carden; sisters, Patricia A. Vallejo and Mary Ruth Carden.
At Bobbie’s request she was cremated. An inurnment and a memorial service will be held in WV at a later date.
