Martin “Marty” Lozowski
Martin “Marty” Lozowski, age 64, passed away on November 9, 2021, at UPMC Hamot with his family by his side.
Born in Erie on April 19, 1957, he was the son of the late Carl and Eleanor (Mroz) Lozowski.
He graduated from Seneca High School in 1975. He was employed by General Electric and retired after 40 years of service.
Marty was a man of many skills. He could fix, repair, and build just about anything he put his mind to. Many of his family, friends, and neighbors would and could consult with him about any project and he would always come through for them. He would get it done one way or another.
“One” of his most proudest accomplishments was his ’68 Chevelle. With a frame-off restoration, painting it ‘Competition Orange’, interior work, windows, and expert detailing mostly done by him with the help of his sons and friends when needed.
He also had a great love of music. He could name the band or name of the song to oh so many if asked. He also loved and enjoyed playing his guitar.
He will be cherished by his wife of 45 years, Sheila (Stolz), whom he married on July 3, 1976; his sons, Michael and Matthew (Julie); his daughter, Cassandra Lozowski Wrotney, and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Alexa, Dylan and Carson Lozowski, and Colton and Mavis Wrotney.
Marty is also survived by his brother, Gary (Darlene) Lozowski of South Carolina; his sister, Kathleen Ditrich of Erie; his mother in law, June Stolz; his brothers in law, Gordon Haas and Terry Stolz, and his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Haas.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
