William Judson Hale, Jr., age 74, of Albion, PA, passed away at UPMC Hamot on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Born in Erie on September 14, 1948, he was the son of the late William Judson Hale, Sr. and Edna Mae (Pursell) Hale.

After graduating from Northwestern High School, he went on to serve in the U.S. Navy.  He was a skilled carpenter, specializing in drywall installation. “Billy” loved hunting, fishing, and gardening, and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.  His dog, Tutu, held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by his 2 daughters; his sisters, Darlene Laskowski Stafford and Pam Carnes; his aunt, Dolores Dana; his uncle, Chuck Pursell, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Hale; his sister Debbie Hale; his brother-in-law, Phil Carnes, and his beloved dog, Lizzy.

Private services will be held at a later date.
