James A. Green
James "Jim" Green, 86, of Centerville, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2019 with his wife Carol by his side.
He was born June 9, 1933 in Lincolnville, PA, the son of the late Sidney and Ila (Titus) Green. He graduated from Bloomfield School in 1951 and later served in the army during the Korean War, stationed in France. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Reslink and Wiggers, was co-owner of McCrillis Farm Supply for many years, and was a salesman for 14 years at Beatty Diesel. He retired at 69.
Jim loved wood working and made some beautiful furniture for their home and their children.
He married his wife Carol McCrillis Green on June 9, 1966. He is survived by 3 sons; Kevin Green (Colleen) of Murfreesboro, TN, Blain Green (Robin) of Elgin PA, Darrin Green (Chrissy) of South Bend IN; 2 sons from a former marriage, Craig Green (Kim) and Brad Green (Cassie); 7 Grandchildren, Justin (Stephenie), Danae (Caleb), Tonya (Andy), Shannon, Michael, Owen and Maverick; 9 Great grandchildren; JT, Rachael, Brayden, Cheyenne, Emerson, Remington, Lincoln, Claudia and Clayton.
Jim is also survived by 4 brothers; Alan Green (Arnie) of Union City, PA, Elmer Green (Janice) of Erie, PA, Stan Green of Erie, and Larry Green (Mary) of Clymer, NY; 3 sisters; Joanne L’huillier of Titusville, PA, Mona Albright (Loye) of Panama, NY, and Marilyn Loesch (Ray) of Canadohta Lake, PA.
The celebration of his life will be held Saturday, Aug 17, 2019 at 11:00am at Lyona Bible Church, Lyona Road, Guys Mills, PA
