Marshall Gibbs Miller
Marshall Gibbs Miller, 79, of Meadville, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 after battling a lengthy illness.
He was born December 18, 1940, in Troy, OH, the son of the late Robert and Katherine (Battan) Miller. Gibbs spent the last twenty years working in the Crawford County Courthouse as a Title Searcher. In his line of work, Gibbs was known to be meticulous and professional and was well liked and had many friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Carolyn Miller; four step-daughters, Toni Carol Bell (John), Heidi Linn Carola, Georgia Rae Bauer (Roger), Janie Sue Clay (Jeff); two step-sons, Christopher Douglas Bell and Steven Ross Bell (Stacy); and several grandchildren, Valerie Bryant, Cassandra Bell, Alexandra Carola, Anthony Granger, Paul Bell, Hayden Lewandowski, Evan Lewandowski, Isabella Carola, Helena Bauer, Mayla Bell and Lilliana Bell, and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight Miller.
Typical of Gibbs, he was brave and faced adversity with his million dollar smile and his amazing laugh. Gibbs was a sweet and gentle soul. He impacted all he came across with his humble and kind ways. His compassion for humanity seemed endless. He cared deeply and made a positive effect on people’s lives even in the smallest ways. Gibbs left the world with his imprint forever embedded in our hearts. He was known to be charitable and donated to many worthwhile causes.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
In lieu of flowers, any monetary donations to the Crawford County Humane Society would be an honor to his spirit.
