Agnes Rieger
Agnes Rieger, age 72, of Erie, PA, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2017, following an extended illness.
She was born in Nanticoke, PA on August 3, 1944, to the late Charles and Agnes (Stahura) McCauley.
Agnes worked at C.A. Curtze for 17 years in sales support, data entry, and customer service. She loved to play Scrabble and excelled at it. She loved children, her dog Molly, and enjoyed watching 'Jeopardy!' on tv. Agnes loved to play Rummy with her son and best friend, Andy.
She was a strong woman and a dedicated mother, wanting only the best for all of her children.
Agnes is survived by 4 sons, Robert Rieger and his wife, Jessica of Erie, Brian Rieger and his wife, Shannon of Girard, Steven Rieger of Erie, and Andrew Rieger of Erie; 1 daughter, Suzette Connelly and her husband, Timothey of Millcreek; 2 brothers, Johnny McCauley and Tommy McCauley; 1 sister, Rose McCauley, and 5 grandchildren, Alexandria Rieger, Tiffany Rieger, Tyler Rieger, Gage Rieger, and Bailey Rieger, and 1 step grandson, Brinton Swope.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Charlie McCauley and Jimmy McCauley, and 1 nephew, Michael McCauley.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
