Ronald I. LaBorde
Ronald I. LaBorde, 93, of Harborcreek, PA passed away Monday, October 23, 2023. Ronald was born May 24, 1930, in Sykesville, PA.
He was the son of the late Floyd and Margaret (Yohe) LaBorde. Ronald was also preceded in death by his youngest son Brian LaBorde of Philadelphia, PA on October 13, 2023.
In 1950, he married Donna Galentine, and they spent 54 wonderful years together before she passed away in 2004.
Ronald graduated from Sykesville Schools and Gannon University. He retired as the Controller for Owens-Illinois.
Ronald was a member of Wesleyville Baptist Church. He was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He enjoyed working on home improvement projects, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Ronald is survived by two daughters, Cathy Vincent (husband Lee) of Harborcreek, PA and Brenda Double (late husband Dennis) of Ocala, FL, and one son, Dan LaBorde (wife Sandra) of Lakewood Ranch, FL; his grandchildren, Michelle Double, Daniel LaBorde, Jr., Zachary LaBorde, and Jessica Joy, along with his great-grandson, Judd Double. He is also survived by his brother, Carl LaBorde of Texas.
