Robert Vern Zelenak

Robert Vern Zelenak, age 77, of Greene Township, PA, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 after a long battle with ALS and heart disease.

He was born in Erie, PA on February 11, 1943, a son of the late George and Bernadine (Johnson) Zelenak.

Upon graduation from McDowell High School in 1961, Bob served in the United States Air Force for four years, with an honorable discharge. He was then employed at General Electric Company as a computer programmer for thirty seven years.  He was also a model railroad enthusiast.

Bob is survived by his wife of fifty years, Pamela (Schulz) Zelenak; two daughters, Cheryl (Michael), and Christine.  He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, and Kaitlyn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George Zelenak and L. Thomas Zelenak, and his infant sister, Carol Ann Zelenak.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
