Brian Scott Almon

Brian Scott Almon, age 61, of Erie, passed away on December 4, 2018 at St. Vincent  Hospital after battling severe health issues.

Born on July 13, 1957, he was a son of the late Austin P. Almon and Joyce (Kenney) Almon Shope.

Brian attended General Mclane High School and Mercyhurst College.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Brian worked at All-Weather Roofing and then held various CNC machinist positions around the Erie area.

He is survived by his long term partner, Bonnie Stockton of Erie; his children, Brian Scott Almon II of Sarasota, FL, Douglas P. Almon of Erie, Cassandra B. Almon of Erie, and Christine M. Raygor and husband, Jason of Erie; his sister, Lisa Donnelly; and his grandchildren, Alexis and Lucas Raygor, and  Landyn Ferrara.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Lura Zlotnik, and his brother, John C. Donnelly.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16509.
