Juanita C. Haslett
Juanita C. Haslett, age 85, of Corry, passed away on March 18, 2022, with her family by her side. She is no longer in pain and suffering, and can rest in peace with her Lord.
She was born November 1, 1936 in Torpedo, PA, the daughter of the late John Walsh and the late Charlotte (Parker) Turner, and her late step father, Loraine Turner.
Juanita was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
When Juanita’s health was better, she enjoyed playing Bingo and games, crocheting, crafts, bowling, playing horseshoes, watching game shows, and trivia. She loved to dance and listen to music. Her favorites were the Gaithers, Elvis, Vince Gill, and George Strait. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family and friends. They meant the world to her.
She married Harold Pudder and they had three children. After his death, she married Richard James Haslett.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Holzhausen of Oklahoma; her grandsons, Erick Holzhausen, Logan Holzhausen, and Lucas Holzhausen (Bailey), all of Oklahoma. She is also survived by her grandsons, Nicholas Bimber (Amanda), Bradley Bimber, and Randy Bimber (Amanda Weed), all of Corry.
In addition, she is survived by her great granddaughters, Elizabeth Holzhausen of Oklahoma, Thalia Bimber and Octavia Bimber, both of Corry, and her great grandson, Jacob Derry, stationed in Turkey; her brother, Loraine Turner (Mary) of Corry, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and both of her husbands, Juanita was preceded in death by her son, Randy Pudder; a daughter, Connie Rogers, and her brother, Robert Turner.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in May.
