Robert “Bob” Hudick
Robert “Bob” Hudick, 79, of Erie, passed away at UPMC Hamot on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.
He was born in Oil City, PA on July 10, 1944, the son of the late Michael and Bernice (Sekula) Hudick.
Bob attended Oil City High School, served in the U.S. Army, and attended Devry Technical Institute. He worked for IBM and 3M.
Bob was a loving father and grandfather. He attended Elmwood Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed gardening, grilling, watching the Steelers, and cheating at cards.
Bob is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Hudick (Karin) of Greensburg, Daniel Hudick (Sarah), James Hudick, and his daughter-in-law Tiffany Hudick, all of Erie; his sisters, Adeline Andres of Franklin and Jane Bell (George) of Oil City, his grandchildren, Emily, Melanie, Derek, Adam, and Carter, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Eleanor Marchibroda, Dorothy Ryczko, Rita Youngberg, Michael Hudick, and Joseph Hudick; and his son, Matthew Hudick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Per Bob’s final wishes, there will be no public viewing or funeral.
