Kent Murray Ferguson, age 75, of Millcreek Township, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 following complications from Covid-19.

Born in Philipsburg, PA, on September 26, 1945, he was the son of the late Clair M. and Celia E. (Strayer) Ferguson.

Kent graduated from Westmont Hilltop High School in Johnstown, PA in 1963. Kent was employed as a manager at the W.T. Grant store in Columbia, PA before working for Penelec for over 30 years in Johnstown, Clearfield, Altoona, and Erie.  He earned a Bachelors Degree from St. Francis University in Loretto, PA while working at Penelec. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and skeet shooter, and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Ifft) Ferguson of Millcreek Township; his daughter, Caroline Ferguson and her husband William McKnight of Alexandria, VA; and his grandson, William McKnight.  He is also survived by his sister in law, Katherine Howard of Harmony, PA.

There will be no viewing or visitation due to COVID.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Westmont Hilltop High School.
