Beverly J. (Borstorff) Villers
Beverly J. (Borstorff) Villers, 85, of Erie, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 13, 2023, surrounded by her beloved family.
She was born July 1, 1938 in Corry, PA, the daughter of the late Edwin and Pearl Borstorff.
Music, fellowship and family were her life. She taught piano for many years; she played piano for the United States Marine Corps for 2 years. She had been a member of Wesleyville Baptist Church for over 60 years. During that time, she was a Sunday School teacher, Pianist, Organist, Choir Director and Music Director. She created a youth singing group called the Inspirations that lasted 10 years. Along with all her musical accomplishments, she was a beautiful and loving wife and mother, adopting 7 children well into her late 50’s.
Beverly is preceded in death by her mother and father; her brother, Robert Borstorff, and her eldest son, Alan Kerstetter.
She is survived by her dear husband of 45 years, Samuel; her children, Duane Kerstetter (Marcie), Mark Kerstetter (Stephanie), Michael Villers, Sarah Loftus (Kevin), Megan Villers, Nathaniel Villers, Brittany Villers (Tyler), and Marcease Villers; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, whom she greatly adored.
A Memorial Service to be held January 6, 2024 at Wesleyville Baptist Church. Details to follow.
