Pauline Marie (Crouch) Docter
Pauline M. (Crouch) Docter, age 62, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021.
Born in Erie on October 6, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Jack Hulings and Maria L. (Varo) Crouch.
Pauline was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School Class of 1977. She worked at For Your Child Only Day Care, St. Benedict Day Care Center, and Hyatt’s. Pauline worked with various food pantries, and delivered food to inmates in the pre-release program. She helped with troubled youth and was always ready to open her home for those needing a warm meal. She helped fill Christmas baskets, and was a generous donator to various fundraisers. Pauline worked with Embracing our Veterans, and was a supporter of the Number One Stunnas MSC.
She is survived by her husband, David E. Docter; her children, Heather Jude and her husband Ollie, and David Docter, Jr. and his fiancée Debra Brule; her sister, Tina Scheifelbein (Randy); her grandchildren, Yousif Jude, Ariana Jude, Clarissa Docter, Floreena Docter, and a soon to be grandson.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Crouch.
Friends are invited to call at Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16509 on Saturday, June 19, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 8:00 PM, officiated by the Very Reverend John Malthaner, V.F. A Memorial Dinner for family and friends will be on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Cross, 5901 Millfair Road in Fairview.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Askins Cremation Funeral Services to help defray expenses.
