Jack T. Lowers
Jack T. Lowers, age 95, of Greene Township, passed away at UPMC Hamot on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 at 8:14 AM.
Born on March 19, 1925 in Clarion, PA, he was the son of the late Wiley Lowers and Beulah "Boots" (Slagle) Lowers Walker, and step son of Lloyd Walker. He was married to Joanne (Minich) Lowers, who preceded him in death in 2000.
Jack loved the Bible and was a member of Summit United Methodist Church. He was an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports teams, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his son, Tim Lowers of Erie; his daughters, Tammy Prevost and her husband Scott of Franklin, Candy Bone of Georgia, and Kathy Lowers of Erie; his sister, Pat of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews. He was loved by his family and special friends, Cal and Connie Close, and Linda and Don Harpst. He will be missed.
In addition to his father, mother, step father, and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Lowers in 2016, 2 sisters, and son in law, Michael Bone.
